This light-coloured Jeep with a dark top is being sought by police in connection with a hit-and-run collision Friday night. Calgary Police ServiceCalgary police are seeking a light-coloured two-door Jeep with a dark top after a 22-year-old female pedestrian died from injuries sustained in an apparent hit-and-run crash on Macleod Trail just north of Fourth Avenue S.E.
The collision occurred at around 9:30 p.m Friday night when the woman was struck by the vehicle, which was then allegedly driven away from the scene.
The woman was transported to hospital where she died from her injuries.
The Jeep, which may have sustained minor damage to the front passenger side, was last seen travelling eastbound on Riverfront Avenue from Macleod Trail S.E.
Calgary police are still investigating and are asking for witnesses to contact Sgt. Daran Wood at 403-567-4000.
