Calgary police say they have new information that suggests a late-model sport utility vehicle was seen leaving the area of a homicide that took place June 21 in the northeast.

Around 1:30 a.m., police and EMS found three injured resident after responding to a 911 call from a residence located on Marcombe Drive N.E.

All three victims were transported to hospital by EMS, but Calgary’s Cuong Viet Doan, 53, was pronounced dead at hospital. A woman in her 50s and man in his 20s were also injured in the incident.

Investigators believe it was a targeted home invasion robbery.

To date, police have received several tips from the public and continue to seek assistance in identifying two suspects - both described as men who were wearing dark clothing.
