A man who died after he was badly burned last week is Calgary’s fourth homicide victim of the year, police say.

Police were called to a suspicious vehicle fire in the 200 block of 28 Avenue N.W. late in the evening of Sept. 8.

A man was found near the SUV suffering from severe burns. He was taken to hospital and died of his injuries the next day, police said.

He has been identified as Kenneth Law, 28, of Calgary.

An autopsy was done but investigators have not released the cause of death.
