Police are looking for two suspects after one man was killed in a home invasion in northeast Calgary on Tuesday. Mary-Catherine McIntosh/CBCOfficials released the name of the man who was shot to death in a home invasion and robbery in northeast Calgary early Tuesday morning.
Police found Cuong Viet Doan, 53, dying and two other people hurt when they arrived at a northeast home at about 1:30 a.m.
The house on Marcombe Drive N.E. is known to police. Investigators don't think the attack was random.
"When we arrived at the scene we located three victims inside the residence and they all had sustained various injuries," said Duty Insp. Paul Stacey.
Doan died in ambulance on the way to the hospital. A female victim, also in her 50s, received serious, life threatening injuries and is still in critical condition with gunshot wounds.
A man in his 20s suffered minor injuries. He was treated and released.
Investigators are looking for two male suspects.
