Southland LRT station reopening Friday

Calgary commuters can start using the Southland C-Train station again on Friday when it reopens after nearly seven weeks of renovations.
The LRT platform at Southland Drive and Horton Road S.W. is being remodeled to accommodate longer, four-car trains.
Crews are still working however, so the ground-level pedestrian track crossing at the south end of the platform will remain closed, officials said.
Customers who need ground-level access are asked to use the Heritage or Anderson stations.
Work is scheduled to be fully complete by the end June or early July, the city said.
