RCMP identified a pedestrian who was killed early Sunday by an alleged drunk driver as Candace Dixon, 24, from Calgary.
She was walking on Highway 901 near Range Road 245, west of the Siksika First Nation, at about 7:30 a.m. MT when she was hit by a pickup truck, police said.
The driver of the truck, Robin Leslie Bigsnake, 26, has been charged with impaired driving causing death.
He is set to appear in Siksika provincial court on Nov. 25.
