Kerry Milton Enick, 50, was last seen on July 7 at his downtown job. (Calgary Police Service) Calgary police, who have been searching for a man missing for more than a week, don't suspect foul play in the discovery of a body in a wooded area near the Bow River.
Police found the body on Thursday evening, and are awaiting a positive ID from the medical examiner's office.
Marine and canine police units had been searching for Kerry Milton Enick, 50, who was last seen at noon on July 7 at his job at an oil and gas company downtown. He was reported missing to police the next day.
Enick, who is married, is an avid triathlete who has an Ironman tattoo on one of his arms.
"He seems to have reasonably stable job and a reasonably stable life. This is unusual for him to be missing," said acting Duty Insp. Nina Vaughn on Thursday.
Police found Enick's red Dodge Ram truck abandoned in the parking lot of the southeast bird sanctuary on Wednesday morning. Investigators determined it had been there for the past four days.
