Nicholas Rodrigo Hovanesian, 24, of Calgary was arrested Saturday. (Calgary Police Service)Police have arrested a fourth man in connection with a triple homicide in Calgary on New Year's Day.
Nicholas Rodrigo Hovanesian, 24, was wanted on Canada-wide warrants, issued in August, for three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of three men who were gunned down at a southeast restaurant.
He was also featured on the website of the TV show America's Most Wanted.
Police say Hovanesian was arrested by Lethbridge police early Saturday morning on an unrelated matter.
He was wanted in connection with a fatal gang-related shooting at a restaurant in a strip mall in southeast Calgary on the afternoon of Jan. 1.
At least three masked men burst into the restaurant and opened fire, killing Sanjeev Mann, 22, and Aaron Bendle, 21. Police say both had ties to gangs.
Keni Su'a, 43, was an innocent bystander who was gunned down as he tried to flee after shooting began.
Three men — Nathan Zuccherato, 22, Michael Roberto, 25, and Real Honorio, 25 — had already been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the case.
