Violent sex offender released in Calgary

Dean Robert Zimmerman, 44, is in Calgary after serving more than three years in a federal prison for sexual assault involving a weapon and forcible confinement.
He will be monitored for two years by a police high-risk offender program.
"His offences have been against adult women known to him for varying lengths of time," police said in a release.
"The Calgary Police Service is issuing this information and warning after careful deliberation and consideration of all related issues, including privacy concerns, in the belief that it is clearly in the public interest."
He has brown eyes and a shaved head and is 5-8" and 205 lbs.
