New trails for Canmore Nordic Centre park

A well-used recreation park in Kananaskis Country is getting a new 30-km trail system.
Ottawa and the Alberta government are joining forces to build the new trails at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park, west of Calgary.
Cindy Ady, Alberta's recreation minister, made the announcement Monday.
The new trail system, designed to accommodate hiking, cycling, mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, will be built in stages over three years.
The province is investing $210,000 and Ottawa is putting in more than $77,000.
The park already has more than 65 km of groomed cross-country trails in the winter. In the summer there is an 18-hole disc golf course, more than 100 km of mountain bike and hiking trails and a mountain bike skills park.
