Suspect arrested in slaying of Calgary father

RCMP arrested Aaron Lee Stevens, 25, at 11:30 p.m. on Monday near the village of Arrowwood, located east of Calgary. Earlier in the day, Calgary police announced that Stevens was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Daniel Jacob Levesque, 29, a carpenter and a father of two, was found dead in his southwest townhouse in June 2008.
In February, two people were also charged in connection with Levesque's death. Sheldon Bertrum Worme, 24, of Calgary was charged with first-degree murder. Tania Marie Gaulin, 20, was charged with being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
The cause of Levesque's death has not been released for investigative reasons. Police said robbery was the likely motive behind the killing and there may be more accomplices.
