The victim was shot after he left the Booty Lounge on Wednesday night. (CBC)Calgary police were looking for a suspect Thursday morning following a shooting in the southeast.
Police say it happened after the victim left the Booty Lounge on 17th Ave S.E. at about 9:50 p.m. Wednesday. The man got into his car and another man walked up and fired several shots into the driver's side door.
One of the bullets went through the door and struck the victim in the left leg. He staggered back into the bar, which is closed for renovations, called 911, and was taken to hospital in non-life threatening condition.
Detectives were investigating.
