Calgary man convicted of second-degree murder in party stabbing

A 20-year-old Calgary man was found guilty Thursday of stabbing another man to death two years ago.
Raul Pavon Flores was convicted on charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault. He stabbed Rigel Cole, 18, in the neck outside a house party on Hawkwood Manor Bay on Aug. 12, 2006. He was arrested at another neighbourhood house party that night.
A second teenager was stabbed in the incident but survived.
Flores will be sentenced in October.
