The first thunderstorm of the season is rolling across southern Alberta.

Residents in Okotoks and communities in southwestern and southeastern Calgary are reporting heavy hail and thunder that physically shakes their homes, as well as plenty of rain.

Several drivers are also saying conditions are dangerous on Glenmore Trail, particularly at Crowchild Trail.

However, fire crews say they have not received any reports of flooding in the city.
