Several areas of southern Alberta were under severe thunderstorm warning from Environment Canada Tuesday afternoon.
The warnings are for the southeast corner of the province, including the Medicine Hat and Cypress Hills areas.
As of 5:50 p.m. MT, severe weather watches were in effect for the areas around Brooks and Lethbridge.
Environment Canada says the thunderstorms are moving quickly and high winds pose the biggest threat in southern Alberta.
