Shots fired in Beltline on Saturday investigated by Calgary police

Calgary Police are looking for more information after shots were fired in the Beltline early this morning.

It's the second time this week there has been gunfire in the neighbourhood

Calgary Police are looking for more information after shots were fired in the Beltline early this morning.

Officers were called to 17th Avenue and 7th Street S.W. at about 2:15 a.m. after residents reported hearing shots.

Casings were found on the ground but the scene had cleared by the time police arrived.

This is the second time shots have been reported in the neighbourhood this week — on Thursday, residents reported hearing shots at the 1200 block of 12 Ave S.W.
