Several children were treated for minor injuries following a school bus rollover near Turner Valley on Tuesday morning.

It happened at about 8 a.m. MT roughly two kilometres north of 254th Avenue on 192nd Street in the Municipal District of Foothills.

All of the children were able to get out of the bus, which was turned on its side.

Nine children ranging in age from five to 12 years were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The road was bare and visibility was good at the time.

RCMP are investigating.
