Residence struck in possible Indus Airfield shooting

Strathmore RCMP are investigating after a bullet struck a residence in Indus.

Strathmore RCMP are investigating after a bullet struck a residence in Indus.

The bullet entered the living area of the residence and came within roughly 10 feet of an occupant.

Witnesses in the area told police they heard numerous gunshots throughout the afternoon leading up to the incident.

Police are asking for the public's help in this investigation. They're specifically interested in information regarding anyone who may have been shooting firearms in the area of the Indus Airfield on Highway 22X at Range Road 282.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or the Strathmore RCMP at 403-934-3968.
