Upcoming events

Our next CBC Do Crew event takes place on Friday, April 20 at CBC Calgary.

We are hosting a lunch and learn session with the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter—an opportunity to learn more about their Stand Against Family Violence movement.

There are a lot of myths and stereotypes that exist around family violence. The more we learn about it, the better able we are to understand the complexity of the issue and the need for change.

Family violence is not OK, no-one ever "asks" to be abused and it can impact anyone.

We will provide the lunch. All you need to do is share an hour (or so) of your time with us.

We have room for 15 Do Crew members who would like to help create change in our community.

Date:  Friday, April 20
Time:  11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Location: CBC Calgary - 1000 Veterans Place N.W. (Cambrian Wellness Centre)

Pay parking is available underground or in the lot on the west side of the building.

If you're interested in joining us please email docrew@cbc.ca.
