Man killed in possible hit-and-run east of Calgary
Gleichen RCMP seeking information after man with 'substantial impact injuries' found on Highway 842
RCMP are investigating a possible hit-and-run near Cluny, east of Calgary.
Around 7:50 a.m., officers from Gleichen responded to a call and found a man with "substantial impact injuries" dead on the west side of Highway 842, 10 kilometres south of Highway 1.

Police say his injuries were consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle.
The victim is described as a First Nations man, approximately 30 years old and wearing dark clothing.
An autopsy is scheduled for Feb. 2 in Calgary.
