Calgary police are asking for help from the public as they investigate a dangerous driving incident on Crowchild Trail that was posted to YouTube recently.

The video has a split screen — one frame showing a speeding Ford Mustang weaving through rush hour traffic, the other pointed inside the driver's car as he follows.

The video was posted last Friday, but police believe the incident happened on northbound Crowchild Trail between Flanders Avenue and Bow Trail at about 5 p.m. MT on or around April 8.

“The Calgary Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the circumstances behind the posting of the video, and is seeking public assistance to identify the two vehicles and drivers involved,” said a written release.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Calgary police traffic section at 403-567-4000 or Calgary Crime Stoppers
