Police probe shooting incident in Beddington
Bullet casings found at scene in northwest Calgary after residents say shots fired
Police are investigating a possible shooting in the northwest Calgary community of Beddington.
Officers were called to Beacham Road N.W. around 2 a.m. MT on Friday for reports of shots fired. But they weren’t able to find any evidence when they arrived, police said.
Hours later, a resident in the area called police to say their vehicle had what appeared to be a bullet hole in it. Investigators recovered bullet casings at the scene, police said.
Investigators have taped off the area and are looking for witnesses.
It’s not believed the any homes were hit.
