It was a busy night for Calgary police Saturday, as they responded to two separate incidents in the northeast.

Two people are in custody after a man received stab wounds to the neck in northeast Calgary.

Police say a woman called to report the incident from a home on Falmere Way N.E. around midnight.

The victim has since undergone surgery and is now in stable condition.

Shortly after, around 1 a.m., police were called to Castlebrook Rise N.E. for reports of gunfire.

They found several bullet holes in a vehicle and a home, and are currently trying to determine whether the shots fired at an upstairs suite were targeted.

They are now looking for suspects.
