The pilot of a small plane was injured Monday morning when a plane crashed on takeoff from the Olds, Alta., airport.
RCMP say the male pilot was found outside of the plane when emergency crews arrived.
He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital in Calgary to be assessed by doctors.
RCMP say they believe the small plane was caught in a crosswind.
The pilot's injuries are not life-threatening.
Transport Canada is investigating the cause of the crash.
