No one was hurt when a helicopter crashed at the Springbank airport near Calgary on Tuesday morning.
Fire crews from the municipal district of Rockyview were called to the scene of the crash just after 10 a.m. The helicopter was spilling fuel so firefighters sealed off the perimeter as a precaution.
The company, Mountain View Helicopters, confirmed that there was one person on board but had no other comment.
Mountain View Helicopters offers sightseeing tours and flight lessons.
Transport Canada is investigating.
