Missing Calgary hikers found safe

Four Calgary hikers who were reported missing overnight have been found safe and healthy, RCMP say.

Four Calgary hikers who were reported missing overnight have been found safe and healthy, RCMP say. 

The hikers had set out for a day hike Sunday on the popular Prairie Mountain Trail across from Elbow Falls along Highway 66 southwest of Bragg Creek, said Cochrane RCMP Const. Jennifer Brewer.

The group was due to return at about 4 p.m., RCMP said in a release. They were reported missing at 11 p.m. MT.  

"At 0925 hrs, all hikers were located safe and with no injuries," RCMP said in a release.
