One man was burned and has been transported to hospital after a truck-mounted camper caught fire early Saturday morning.

Fire crews arrived around 1 a.m. MT at 94th Avenue and Second Street S.W. after reports of a fire. 

They found an injured man standing near a camper that was burning.

The man was assessed, treated for burns and transported to hospital.

Witnesses say they saw the man, in his 60s, jump from the rear of the camper with his clothes on fire.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire and it is currently under investigation.

There were no other reported injuries.
