Infant's death on Siksika First Nation probed by RCMP
9-month-old girl found unresponsive at home on Sunday, later declared dead at hospital
Police are investigating the death of a nine-month-old baby on the Siksika First Nation east of Calgary.
The girl was found unresponsive at her home on the reserve on Sunday, says Gleichen RCMP.
She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The Calgary medical examiner’s office performed an autopsy on Monday. Police are waiting for the report.
The RCMP major crimes unit is assisting with the investigation.
