Impark has cancelled a parking ticket issued to a Calgary Folk Festival volunteer.
Pat Ruby arrived early on Saturday and paid a special festival rate of $10 to park in a lot near Prince's Island Park.
But when she arrived back at her car after the festival ended later that night, she found a $95 parking ticket. Impark said signs posted in the area clearly stated that the festival rate was only good for 12 hours.
The ticket was only $65 if paid within seven days, but Ruby wanted to see her ticket thrown out.

She complained and received a call from the Vancouver-based company Tuesday saying the ticket had been cancelled.
Another Calgary Folk Fest fan, Anne Ndegwa, also had her ticket cancelled Tuesday.
While it has nothing to do with the Impark lot, the Calgary Folk Festival also received many complaints. Festival staff say they called Impark to share those concerns.
