Seven people are safe after a hot air balloon made an unexpected landing at the University of Calgary.

The balloon began drifting at around 8 a.m. Monday and ended up in a campus parking lot.

Teresa Parkin, an 80-year-old who was on board with her granddaughter, described the landing was a bit bumpy, but said otherwise it was a "lovely morning."
