Collision between horse and SUV sends 3 to hospital

Three people are in hospital after a collision between a horse and an SUV on Highway 1A near Cochrane on Friday night.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in Friday night crash

Three people are in hospital after a collision between a horse and an SUV on Highway 1A near Cochrane on Friday night. 

EMS says there was significant damage to the vehicle, but all three occupants are expected to survive.

A man in his 20s is in serious, but non-life-threatening condition, while a woman in her mid 30s is in stable condition. The driver, a woman, is in stable condition, but nothing more is known at this time. 

There is no word on the status of the horse. 

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
