Foul play ruled out in woman's death in Waterton
23-year-old from Lethbridge was found dead in a lake last week
Police say the death of a woman whose body was found in a lake in Waterton Park last week is not suspicious.
An autopsy done on Tuesday by the Calgary Medical Examiner’s Office revealed the 23-year-old Lethbridge woman’s death was not criminal in nature, RCMP said Wednesday.
Canoeists called police after they discovered the woman’s body floating face down in water near Cameron Bay last Friday.
At the request of the woman’s family, police said no further details would be released.
