Foul play ruled out after body found in recycling plant
Body found at recycling facility was trucked in
Police have ruled out foul play in the death of a man whose body was discovered in a recycling plant.
However, police are not releasing any more details, other than to say that the medical examiner's office was involved and further testing on the body will be needed.
"The cause of death, however, has yet to be determined as further testing is required. This testing could take several weeks. The name of the victim is being withheld until the autopsy is complete," police said in a release Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to the BFI Canada recycling facility on Bluegrass Drive in Rocky View County around 7:20 a.m. MT Friday after staff discovered the body.
At the time, police said the body was transported to the site by a recycling truck.
