Elbow Park break-ins prompt police warning
Majority happened on Monday morning and Friday, Saturday evenings
A rash of break-ins in Elbow Park in January is prompting Calgary police to warn residents to lock their doors and windows.
Since the beginning of the month, there have been four break and enters in the inner city neighbourhood. Police said the majority of the offences took place on Mondays between 9 a.m. MT and noon and on Fridays and Saturdays between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Calgarians are reminded to make sure their doors and windows are locked and that their homes are always secured, regardless of whether they are in the residence.
Police ask that any suspicious activity be reported to them.
Any crimes in progress should be reported to 911.
