Drop off winter clothes for the homeless at CBC

The Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre has a desperate need for cold weather clothing for men and women — and CBC Calgary wants to help.

The Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre has a desperate need for cold weather clothing for men and women — and CBC Calgary wants to help.

In a bid to help the Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre collect winter clothing for the homeless, CBC Calgary is accepting donations at the broadcasting centre until Nov. 12. The Calgary Eyeopener's Angela Knight shows off one of the first donations Monday. (Andrew Brown/CBC)

If you have winter coats, boots, gloves, hats or toques and scarves you'd like to donate, we'll take them.

All items must be in good condition. 

The Drop-In Centre is accepting donations 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The address is 1 Dermot Baldwin Way S.E. in downtown Calgary.

We will be accepting donations until Nov. 12 at 1724 Westmount Blvd. N.W. 

The hours our lobby will be open are as follows for the next two days:

  • Monday: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. MT.
  • Tuesday: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. MT.
