Police are asking for help from the public after a Calgary gun range was broken into and robbed twice this month.

A man broke into the Shooting Edge on 77th Avenue S.E. just after midnight on May 11 and smashed open a display case with a baseball bat, police said.

He took off on foot with 11 handguns.  He was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, red gloves and white shoes.

Police were called to the same business for another break-in on Monday morning. It’s believed 20 or more weapons were taken. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage to see if a suspect was caught on tape.

It’s not yet known if the two incidents are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
