Discovery of Arlene Mann's body in Lineham Creek not suspicious, say RCMP
Missing High River mother's body found in recreation area earlier this week
RCMP identified the body pulled from Lineham Creek as Arlene Diana Mann, but say they are confident her death is not suspicious.
Police issued a photo of the 53-year-old woman on Tuesday, explaining Mann was not wearing glasses and had cut her hair since the photo was taken.
Mann is a mother of three from High River who was last seen by her family on Sunday.
Police received a call Monday morning about a deceased person near a foot bridge in the recreational area west of High River.
Mann's body was taken to the Calgary medical examiner's office.
"The medical examiner's report will not be finalized until all of the results of lab work are in," said RCMP in a release. "However at this time, police are confident that the death of Arlene Mann is not suspicious in nature."
