Police say warning signals were working but driver may have failed to stop
Two men in their 20s are in hospital after their van was hit by a CN Rail train in Calgary on Saturday night.
Police say the collision happened just after 9 p.m. MT at a marked crossing in the 700 block of 68th Street S.E.
The CN train struck the passenger side of the van, leaving the 22-year-old passenger with critical head injuries.
The driver, also 22, was also injured but the nature of his injuries have not been disclosed.
