Charges pending against 4 in Lethbridge standoff
Lethbridge police say all 4 people were wanted in connection to recent crimes
Charges are expected to be laid soon against four people taken into custody after a standoff in Lethbridge on Sunday night.
Lethbridge police officers blocked off the 2500 block of 13 Street North at around 8 p.m. MT because of reports that four people — who police say may be tied to other criminal incidents over the past week — had a firearm.
Three men and one woman were inside the residence, but were eventually taken into custody without incident.
A firearm was recovered during the incident.
Police say they can't speculate on the nature of the charges pending against the individuals.
The investigation is still ongoing.
