Police have laid impaired driving charges after a crash that killed a 70-year-old woman in Calgary on Sunday.

The crash left three others, including two children, in critical condition.

It happened Sunday night when a truck and a second vehicle caught fire after a head-on collision.

Police say 30-year-old Amandeep Singh Dhillon is charged with one count of impaired driving causing death and three counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.

The Calgary man is also facing a number of other charges, including one of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
