The actor, singer and poverty activist had just participated in the Halo High Water concert held last Sunday to raise money for flood recovery in Alberta.
Then he found out Tuesday night that the Mission Possible hub for volunteers and evacuees in High River was running out out of food and supplies.
So Jackson showed up Wednesday morning at the camp on the High River rodeo grounds with a trailer full of food and supplies from the Calgary Food Bank.
Jackson, RCMP and volunteers unloaded everything and then organized a barbecue for the camp, which feeds up to 500 people every day.
