The largest model train show in Canada rolled into Calgary Saturday and Sunday at the Subway Soccer Stadium.
Supertrain is an annual show featuring small-scale railways of every make and description. This year, more than 40 groups from across North America are on site to display their railroads.
"I think that small trains appeal to people because it's an opportunity to build something" says show chair Rob Badmington, "to operate it themselves, to recreate a world's that's maybe just in their imagination but you can build anything you like."
The show draws more than 10,000 people each year to take in the exhibits, live demonstrations and clinics.
