Canada Day celebrations are well underway in Calgary.

Events are going on around the city on Tuesday, culminating in fireworks at 10:45 p.m. launched from the Centre Street Bridge. Music synchronized to the fireworks will be broadcast on 101.5 Kool FM and 95.3 The Peak.

The City of Calgary has posted its Canada Day activities on its website. Events include a First Nations Powwow on Prince's Island Park, a stage by the river at the Harry Hays Building downtown, and activities at Fort Calgary.
