The Market Collective has found a new home for December on International Avenue in southeast Calgary.

The group, which sells arts and crafts, has been in a dispute involving the Calgary Parking Authority and the Kensington Business Association over the dates it could use for its holiday market at its regular location in Kensington.

"The Kensington BRZ felt that we were detrimental to local businesses in the neighbourhood, although we did have a lot of local support unfortunately," said Angela Dione, the co-founder of Market Collective.

"So we just had to go with what they needed and now we moved locations."

The artistan market is now open at a former car dealership on Radisson Drive just off 17th Avenue and 33rd Street S.E. for the next two weekends.
