Calgary police are "urgently" seeking a violent offender they say poses a significant risk to his former domestic partner.

Police believe 22-year-old Noel Antonio Reinosa, who also goes by Noel Reinosa-Carreno, assaulted his former partner Tuesday at a C-Train station and threatened her with a weapon.
He is described as Hispanic, five-feet-seven-inches tall with a brown eyes, black hair and a medium build.
Reinosa has warrants for his arrest related to several assaults, threats and breaching court orders.
Police have released a CCTV screen capture of the man wanted in the C-Train assault, believed to be Reinosa.
