The Calgary Police Service is asking for the public's help in identifying a man connected to a recent sex assault.

At about 1 p.m. MT on July 12, a woman was walking by a creek in the north end of the Queen's Park Cemetery when a nude man grabbed her from behind and pushed her to the ground.

Once on the ground, the man forced himself on her and told her to take off her clothes.

The woman fought back, causing the man to get up and walk towards some nearby trees.

The man is described as Caucasian, in his late 40s, five feet and seven inches tall and about 140 pounds. 

He has chin length brown hair with protruding lips and is possibly toothless.
