Raids on three locations in Calgary last week turned up a large quantity of drugs and cash, police say.
Officers with the Calgary Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) — which includes Calgary police and RCMP members — executed search warrants on three homes and three vehicles on Aug. 13.
They seized $120,000 in cash and nearly $100,000 worth of cocaine and the painkiller oxycodone.
Investigators also found two replica pellet guns and trafficking paraphernalia that included 32 empty kilogram wrappers, police said.
"The large quantity of cash and empty wrappers speak to the group’s sophistication and the volume in drugs being trafficked," said Staff Sgt. Martin Schiavetta.
Four men face numerous drug possession and trafficking charges.
