Man taken to hospital in serious condition after incident in Hidden Valley
Calgary police are looking for the driver of a small, dark-coloured Nissan that struck a man crossing the street in the northwest neighbourhood of Hidden Valley.
Police say a 28-year-old man was jaywalking at the 9000 block of Hidden Valley Drive on Monday around 7:45 a.m. MT when he was struck by the vehicle.
"The pedestrian was jaywalking and was not in a marked crosswalk," police said in a news release.
"The Nissan struck the man and continued on, failing to stop. The vehicle likely has damage to the front of the hood."
The man was taken to hospital in serious condition.
