Officials at the Calgary International Airport are warning the public of a telephone scam offering incentives in exchange for credit card information.

There are reports of an automated message dialing the public claiming to be the Calgary Airport Authority or the Calgary International Airport.

The message tries to lure listeners into providing their credit card information by saying they are eligible for a cash credit on future flights.

Anyone who receives a call like this is being asked to hang up and contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
