Good morning, Calgary! It's misty and –13 C but it feels like –20 C at 8 a.m. Here's what's happening in the city today.
We're expecting a mix of sun and cloud and a high of –12 C. Overnight, the temperature will be steady at –12 C.
Tomorrow, a couple of centimetres of snow is expected with a high of –10 C. The normal high for this time of year is –3 C.

The former Governor of the Bank of Canada says this is absolutely the right time for Alberta to invest in capital. David Dodge, hired by the provincial government to give budget advice, says the government should reconsider charging for some of that public infrastructure, including bringing in toll roads. There are other benefits aside from more revenue, Dodge says.
A young Calgary activist is targeting Amazon for selling shirts which make fun of mental illness. Maggie Harder,14, is running a campaign to stop the stigma associated with mental illness. She says T-shirts on Amazon's website which poke fun at depression and suicide aren't helpful for people who've had those things touch their lives.
There's some good news from the RCMP on traffic stats over the holidays. The numbers show for Dec. 23 to Jan. 3 there was a general reduction in traffic accidents, with one fatality this year compared to five last year. The number of collisions involving injures dropped dramatically as well, and all impaired driving charges are also down.
